NewWhen a free trial or subscription ends, the account stays read-only for 90 days: everyone can still sign in, see their work and download it, and the sidebar counts down to the date. Pro and Max tools, AI features and automations pause, and if your plan included online payments your clients can still pay open invoices. Choosing a plan brings everything back as you left it; after 90 days the account closes until a plan is chosen. The phone app shows the same countdown with its next update.

NewInvoice numbers from your forms software are checked as you type: if another invoice already uses the number, you'll see which appraisal it's on. It never blocks, since two reports on one job can share a number.

ImprovedAssistants can complete appraisals and deliver reports by default. When a Pro or Max firm turns this off for a role or a person, the web now respects it as the phone always did.

ImprovedAnalysis figures agree with each other: AMC and platform totals include imported history, shares are of the whole period rather than the top few rows, and New clients counts only clients whose first real order came in that period, not every agent, co-borrower or lost bid.

ImprovedThe AMCs page and each AMC's details count files the same way Analysis does, including imported history, and "this month" means orders placed this month in your timezone.

ImprovedProfile photos appear on stage assignee chips and on the appraiser badges in the Appraisals, Invoices and Payments lists, with initials whenever a photo can't load.

ImprovedEditing a payment shows which invoices it pays and how much, and where to change that, instead of checkboxes that looked editable but didn't save. A payment taken through Stripe shows its method as Credit Card (Stripe).

ImprovedTerms of Service: a free trial needs no card and never turns into a paid plan on its own, and an ended trial gets the same 90 read-only days as a canceled plan. The Privacy Policy and DPA say the same, and the pricing FAQ now answers "What happens when my trial ends?"

FixedRecording a payment from an invoice (the invoice panel or the appraisal's Money tab) opened at $0.00 and could save a payment that never applied, leaving the invoice unpaid and a held report held. It now opens at what's owed and applies to the invoice.

FixedArchive and Restore on the Appraisals list, and the swipe action in a phone's browser, had failed since late August. They work again.

FixedAfter saving an edit from an appraisal's side panel, its invoices read $0.00 with the payment buttons hidden and its notes looked empty, so a new note could overwrite the saved one, until the panel was reopened. The panel now stays complete.

FixedProcess board cards name the paying client instead of whichever contact came first, and show the inspection day. Completing an inspection from the dashboard no longer clears the appraisal's inspection notes.

FixedAn AMC's details opened empty from the AMCs page until edited, missed payments recorded against its invoices, and showed a 3% processing fee as 0.03%. Bulk AMC assignment displays again.

Someone on the appraisal but not on its invoice, such as the referring agent when the borrower is billed, could download the report before it was paid, because the portal only checked the invoices that person was billed on. Appraisals with more than one invoice skipped the check the same way. The portal now checks every invoice on the appraisal: once the balance is paid or written off, or you release the report early, it opens for everyone.

NewWrite off an invoice you won't collect. The unpaid remainder is closed as uncollectible, payments already received stay on it, and the invoice still counts as work you billed. Unlike cancelling, which says the work was never owed. A written-off invoice releases a report held for payment, and it can be undone if the money turns up after all.

NewSend a payment reminder in one tap from any unpaid invoice. It goes from your own email to everyone who received the invoice, or to one party on a split, with their portal link and what they still owe. The invoice shows when the last reminder went out.

NewA Deliveries tab on the dashboard lists completed reports that the client hasn't opened or hasn't paid for after three days, so a lost email or a stalled payment surfaces in days, not months. Report downloads are now recorded from today, so reports delivered earlier aren't flagged.

NewEvery locked feature now shows the plan it belongs to as a small Pro or Max label, and opening it explains what the plan adds and how to upgrade, on the web and the iPhone app.

FixedEvents from a teammate's personal Google calendar no longer appear on your dashboard, or flicker onto your calendar page after an edit or sync. They were always meant to be private to the person whose calendar they came from. The dashboard never applied that rule, and the calendar page applied it on load but dropped it on every in-page refresh, which is why the same events came and went.

FixedGoogle sync no longer imports a recurring personal event years ahead. An incremental sync had no time limit, so one daily recurrence had arrived as hundreds of rows reaching into 2029, all of which every dashboard and calendar load had to page through. New imports now stop at the same eighteen-month horizon the first full sync uses.

FixedA mention or a reply now shows the comment it is about. Press and hold one on your phone and the message appears above the reply box, so you can read what was said before you answer it. Until now the two kinds of notification you can reply to were the only two that never showed you the comment — they told you that you had been mentioned, and on which file, and nothing else.

NewNotifications on the phone carry buttons. Press and hold one and you can mark it read without opening the app at all. On a mention or a reply you can type an answer on the notification itself; the app then opens to the thread so you can see your reply land, rather than leaving you to trust that it did.

NewOn the phone, answer or clear a notification without leaving the list. Swipe one to mark it read. On a mention or a reply, the comment that named you is quoted right on the row and you can answer it there, so you can decide without opening the file first. The reply lands in the thread as a proper reply and reaches people exactly as one written in the file does.

NewAdd several paying clients to an appraisal in one pass. The box took one person and closed, so a divorce with a husband, a wife and a referring attorney meant opening it three times and re-splitting the invoice after each. Now you pick everyone first, set the split once, and save once.

FixedThe Money tab shows a billing change straight away. After changing who is billed, the invoice breakdown kept showing the old payer at 100% until the page was reloaded, which reads as the edit not having worked.

FixedAdding a paying client updates the list behind the panel. Every other contact change already did; adding a payer, the one that changes an invoice's split most, did not.

FixedThe phone's comment box sits on the keyboard. After submitting a comment a band of empty space was left between the box and the keyboard, and on a short thread it squeezed the comments to nothing.

Fixed"Match device" on the phone now follows your phone's own light and dark setting. It always came out light before, so the only way to get a dark app was to pick Dark yourself.

FixedThe bottom tab bar follows the theme. It stayed light whatever you chose, because the bar is drawn by the phone rather than by the app, and the app was never telling it what had been picked. The same was true of the keyboard and system prompts.

ImprovedA notification opens the part of the file it is about. A payment lands on Money, a mention or reply on Comments, an inspection on Schedule, a revision on Revisions, a bounced email on Delivery. They all used to open on Order, so you were told something and then had to go and find it.

FixedCalendar events on the phone now use the colours you picked for your calendars, the same ones the web uses. The phone had its own fixed palette, so a firm with inspections on orange and due dates on blue saw exactly those two colours swapped. Events are coloured by whose calendar they belong on, so you and your assistant now see the same job the same way, and finals are told apart from full appraisals as they already were on the web.

FixedYour profile photo appears on the phone's More screen and in the comment box. It was only ever shown beside comments, and only for other people.

FixedTapping a notification on the phone always does something. The ones whose screen only exists on the web now say where to find it instead of quietly doing nothing, and one pointing at an appraisal that has since been deleted says so instead of showing a database error.

NewThe phone's bottom navigation is now the iPhone's own tab bar rather than one we drew. On iOS 26 it floats above your list in the system's glass material, and it stays full size as you scroll instead of shrinking away. Older iPhones get the standard bar, and nothing about where things live has changed.

ImprovedNotifications live in one place now. The bell sits in the header of every tab instead of only the dashboard, and the duplicate entry under More is gone. More keeps the notification settings.

FixedTapping the tab you are already on scrolls that list back to the top from the first time you open it. It previously only started working after you left the tab and came back.
