Migration guide · Anow

Get your Anow data out. Then decide.

Anow's parent company went through creditor-protection restructuring in 2025–2026. Nobody knows exactly what comes next — which is why the first step is the same no matter what you choose: export a current copy of your data while it's a five-minute job.

Step zero — do this today

The Anow export checklist.

Five exports, one sitting. Store them somewhere you control. This protects you in every scenario — switching to us, switching to anyone else, or staying put.

  • Orders / appraisals.

Your full assignment log — addresses, order dates, due dates, statuses, fees, and file numbers. This is the export that matters most; pull it first.
  • Clients and contacts.

Client names, companies, emails, phone numbers, and notes. AMC records too, with fee schedules if your export includes them.
  • Invoices and payments.

Invoice numbers, amounts, paid/unpaid status, and payment dates. Even if you only get a summary CSV, that's enough to rebuild your receivables picture.
  • Calendar and inspections.

Upcoming inspections and deadlines. If a calendar export isn't available, your Google Calendar likely already has them if you had sync on.
  • Files and reports.

Any reports, photos, or documents stored inside Anow rather than in your own cloud storage. Download them to a local or Dropbox folder you control.
  • Do it today, not someday.

Export while your login works and support can still help. A current backup costs you five minutes and protects you no matter which tool you choose next — including staying put.

If you decide to move

Three steps. About a week, end to end.

The CSV import wizard does the heavy lifting; we do the rest with you on a call.

  • 1. Export everything above.

One sitting, roughly five to fifteen minutes. Store the CSVs somewhere you control. You now have leverage and time, whatever happens next.
  • 2. Import into Appraisal Ally.

Drop the orders CSV into our import wizard — column mapping is auto-suggested, clients and AMCs are created or matched automatically, and invoices can be generated from fee amounts. A typical year of appraisals takes 5–10 minutes.
  • 3. Parallel-run with help.

Keep Anow running while you try us — most appraisers parallel-run for about 30 days. We'll work through the migration with you on a call, and if a field doesn't map cleanly, we fix it together.

Want the full picture of what comes over and how the parallel run works? The general migration page covers every source system.
